Oxford is pretty cool

Before I forget, I need to take a moment and reflect on an incredible weekend.  As much as this week is going to suck terribly because I did no work, i just had an incredible time relaxing, catching up with friends and taking in the sun.  The carnival, the concert, the parties, they were all just perfect. 

Now for the worst week ever!

Today I was wagging a documentary on schools in America and they were talking about how the cost if dropouts in prisons costs more yearly then private education. So I was thinking way don’t they just educate them for free as an investment they can pay back once their employed… and then I realized that’s what college is…

I came across this post via the lovely Helenna Santos Levy.  It is originally from the Cornucopia Institute.

My sister didn’t even know what GMO meant.  This is a really helpful chart. Tons of companies have jumped on the Organic and Natural labeling sceme once it became profitable.  I had no idea half of the brands I really like are really just General Mills.  It’s a shame that Prop 37 didn’t pass, but this information is still extremely relevant for all consumers.
